SUMMARY:The CircularEconomy4Ghana consultation workshop
DESCRIPTION:\nAbout the event\nBuilding momentum for circular agriculture i
n Ghana \nGhana stands at a pivotal moment in its development journey. As
the nation faces rapid urbanization\, climate pressures\, and growing was
te management challenges\, transforming the agri-food system into a more s
ustainable\, resilient\, and inclusive model is crucial. Agriculture\, whi
ch employs over 30% of the population and anchors Ghana’s economy\, is b
oth vulnerable to these challenges and key to the solutions. \n\nTo help
shape this transformation\, the Consultation Workshop “Strengthening Gha
na’s Circular Economy Innovation Ecosystem for Climate-Resilient Agricul
ture” will convene leading researchers\, innovators\, policymakers\, and
investors to explore how circular economy principles can accelerate susta
inable and green growth in Ghana’s agricultural sector.\n\n&nbsp\;\nAbou
 t the Consultation Workshop\nThis strategic\, high-level event will assess
the challenges and market needs in Ghana’s agriculture landscape and ev
aluate existing partnerships to gauge readiness for a collaboratively deve
loped Innovation Challenge. If the momentum and partnerships align\, the W
orkshop’s outcomes will guide the creation of a national program designe
d to identify\, support\, and scale science-driven circular solutions that
strengthen agricultural productivity and safeguard resources and the envi
ronments. \n\nThe event is organized by the Alliance of Bioversity Intern
ational and CIAT\, through the CGIAR Accelerate for Impact Platform (A4IP)
\, the International Water Management Institute (IWMI)\, and the Circular
Bioeconomy Innovation Hub (CBEIH)\, in collaboration with the African Deve
