Facilitating Knowledge transfer to foster sustainable briquette machine operations.
The Hub facilitated a training program for the JVL-YKMA Recycling Plant to help it overcome challenges after being inactive for two years due to technical issues. Engaging 12 participants from 5 institutions, the program addressed gaps in installation, operation, and maintenance. As a result, the machine is now fully operational, producing 1,000 tons of non-carbonized briquette fuel annually, significantly reducing the open burning of wood waste and air pollution.
